Produced by Chateau La Rivalerie, appellation Premieres Cotes de Blaye. A combination of Cabernet sauvignon and Merlot grape, this wine is not on the sweet side. A semi dry wine with a lot of personality, well-balanced subtle fruit notes. Very good with spicy food and grilled meats and fish! This wine will change your opinions on rosé wines. Very much in the style of the reds and whites produced by the same chateau, a complex wine.The Bonarccosi family bought this vineyard in 1997. Situated by the Garonne River, north of Bordeaux, the vineyard and the buildings necessitated some restoring which the family worked very hard to do and by so re-establish the reputation this chateau had a long time ago.
