Chateau Canevault is an AOC Fronsac wine. This is a Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes wine, a small edition of this vineyard, which has been matured in oak barrels. This is a Gold medal winner in Macon. Deep notes of bramble, elegant velvety tannins, a very generous robust red! Fronsac is a very small appellation, often unknown over here, but one of the best in Bordeaux. The Chaudet family bought this vineyard in 1997. The bottles are stored in the underground galleries, providing the best conditions to mature and protect the wine. The underground galleries are very rare and make this chateau quite unique.
