This wine is a superb medium sweet white wine. Ideal with desserts and blue cheese or even as an aperitif. It is not as sweet or licorous as your usual dessert wines, it is light and delicate. Made with 60% semillon, 30% sauvignon and 10% muscadelle grapes, it has a lovely pale colour, fresh and fruity notes, aromas of apricots, dried figs, with delicate lemon notes. Well rounded and mellow with a good length. Chateau la Mouliere is located not far from the famous Montbazillac region where delicious dessert wines are produced and this is an excellent alternative.
